Dvě ocenění pro projekt Bezbariérová Olomouc
Ocenění za přínos ke zlepšení života handicapovaných občanů obdrželo město Olomouc od Národní rady zdravotně postižených ČR minulý týden v Praze na Žofíně. Další ocenění získá projekt poslední únorový den v Paříži.
Ve čtvrtek 17. 2. 2005 byly vyhlášeny výsledky II. ročníku výroční ceny MOSTY 2004, kterou uděluje Národní rada zdravotně postižených ČR. Smyslem ceny je ocenit akt, projekt nebo čin, který významným způsobem zlepšuje postavení občanů se zdravotním postižením. Celkem bylo přihlášeno 89 projektů.
V kategorii pro instituce veřejné správy se Statutární město Olomouc s projektem Bezbariérová Olomouc probojovalo mezi pět nejlepších projektů a získalo Ocenění Národní rady zdravotně postižených ČR. Slavnostního předávání ocenění se zúčastnil primátor města Olomouce pan Martin Tesařík.
Statutární město Olomouc projekt Bezbariérová Olomouc přihlásilo také do soutěže o výroční cenu francouzské federace APAJH, která tuto cenu uděluje každoročně za přínos v oblasti začleňování osob s postižením do společnosti. V této soutěži je město Olomouc nominováno spolu se dvěma dalšími evropskými městy na cenu "Exemplární aktivity evropského města". Z těchto tří měst bude vyhlášen vítěz. Slavnostního předávání cen, které proběhne v pondělí 28.2.2005 v Kongresovém paláci v Paříži, se zúčastní i zástupci Statutárního města Olomouce.
