Díky počasí jsou stavbaři v předstihu
Druhá část rekonstrukce a dobudování stokové sítě v Olomouci možná skončí v předstihu několika měsíců už na konci roku 2008. S aktuálním stavem stavebních prací se seznámil v pátek 29. června primátor Martin Novotný a také přizvaní novináři.
Jedna z největších a technicky nejnáročnějších investičních akcí v novodobých dějinách města v objemu 1,2 miliardy korun je spolufinancovaná také z evropského Fondu soudržnosti částkou 25 mil. €. Během druhé etapy jsou postupně napojovány na stokovou síť především okrajové části města. Položeno bude celkem bezmála 58 kilometrů potrubí, což umožní nové připojení na kanalizační síť pro zhruba 11 tisíc obyvatel města. Podle harmonogramu by měly skončit stavební práce zahájené přesně před rokem až v květnu 2009. Podle zástupců dodavatelských firem však letošní mírná zima umožnila urychlení stavební činnosti a je proto reálný předpoklad, aby byla stavba ukončena už koncem roku 2008.
"Vzhledem k tomu, že rozsáhlá výkopová činnost a s ní související silniční uzavírky značně komplikují občanům život ve městě, je to pro nás velmi příznivá zpráva," řekl primátor Martin Novotný. Momentálně je citelně dopravně ochromena zejména městská část Chomoutov. Proto se v doprovodu zástupců manažera celého projektu a dodavatelských firem vypravil přímo na místo, aby se přesvědčil, jak stavební činnost probíhá.
Druhá etapa rekonstrukce a dobudování stokového sítě navazuje plynule na část první, která proběhla v letech 2004-2006 a vyžádala si náklady ve výši 596 mil. Kč, když dotace z Eu činila 323 mil. Kč a dalších 17,5 mil. Kč město získalo ze Státního fondu životního prostředí.
